ECO CHURCH is a scheme run by A Rocha UK equipping churches to care for God's creation through their worship, buildings, land, community engagement, and individual lifestyles.

A Rocha UK is a Christian charity working to equip Christians and churches to care for creation. It is a learning community of churches of all shapes and sizes. It provides a framework to support our church and its leadership to take practical action on caring for God’s earth.

our commitment to becoming an eco church

1.    Follow The Church of England’s plan for reducing carbon emissions to net zero by 2030.

2.    Take part in the A Rocha UK reward scheme designed to equip our church to work towards environmentally friendly practices. 

3.      Explore ways that we can care for God’s world in our worship & teaching, in how we look after our buildings and land; in how we engage with our community both locally & globally and in our personal lifestyles as a congregation.
